Jazz Aspen Snowmass adds Jack Johnson to Labor Day Experience lineup

Singer-songwriter Jack Johnson will headline the Jazz Aspen Snowmass Labor Day Experience on Saturday, Sept. 1, festival organizers announced Thursday.
Johnson rounds out an eight-artist main-stage lineup, including previously announced headliners Lionel Richie on Friday, Aug. 31, and Zac Brown Band on Sunday, Sept. 2.
The concert will mark Johnson’s second appearance at the festival, following a sold-out show in 2004. The beloved laid-back surf-folk singer’s most recent album is 2017’s “All the Light Above It Too.”
Additional acts on the bill include Michael Franti and Spearhead on Friday, Bahamas and Fitz and the Tantrums on Saturday, The Record Company and Gary Clark, Jr. on Sunday.
Single-day tickets will go on sale on Monday at 9 a.m. Three-day Early Bird passes are already on sale at 866-JAS-TIXX (527-8499), http://www.jazzaspensnow mass.org or at the Belly Up box office in Aspen and http://www.bellyupaspen.com (970-544-9800).
In addition to the three-day general admission pass, Jazz Aspen also is selling a Three-Day Deck Pass, which includes complimentary grill fare, private restrooms and a private bar with complimentary beer, wine and a daily cocktail. Patron (VIP) three-day passes also are available, including parking, all-day food, gourmet dinner and dessert, premium open bars and a tax deduction.
Snowmass council candidate arrested on theft charge
