Belly Up Aspen notified ticket-holders at 1 p.m. that the Zappa Plays Zappa performance and Dweezil Zappa Guitar Master Class scheduled for today have both been canceled.

“We were informed that they are unable to make it due to weather,” wrote Box Office Manager Amanda Bird.

The band played a gig last night in Santa Fe, N.M., and was scheduled to drive through the night to Aspen. Bird’s email notice included nothing about a possibly rescheduled show.

All ticket purchases will be refunded via the same tender that was used to buy the tickets, Bird added. Cash buyers are invited to stop by the Belly Up box office today, or any day of the week after 12 p.m.

Any questions can also be directed to the club at 544-9800.
