Jazz Aspen adds Corinne Bailey Ray to Labor Day lineup

Corinne Bailey Rae will perform on Sunday, Sept. 4 at the Jazz Aspen Snowmass Labor Day Experience in Snowmass Town Park.

Jazz Aspen Snowmass has added vocalist Corinne Bailey Rae to the Labor Day Experience lineup, festival organizers announced Friday.

She will perform in the 3 p.m. afternoon slot Sept. 4 prior to Duran Duran and Stevie Wonder. From Leeds, England, Rae released her self-titled debut album in 2006, featuring global hits “Put Your Records On” and “Like a Star.” The album catapulted her into the spotlight selling millions and earning multiple award nominations. Corinne will be releasing her third album, “The Heart Speaks in Whispers,” on May 13.

The previously announced slate of performers includes Train and Andy Grammer on Sept. 2 and The Killers and Thievery Corporation on Sept. 3. An additional main-stage act for Sept. 3 has yet to be announced.
