Affordable holiday shopping in Aspen may sound like an oxymoron, but it’s an annual tradition at the Aspen Chapel Gallery’s “Small Wonders” art show.

Now in its 10th year, “Small Wonders” exhibits original works by local artists, none larger than 12-by-12 inches and none priced higher than $250 (most much lower).

This year’s show includes hundreds of pieces by 30 local artists in a variety of media, with work curated by Ada Christensen. The opening reception with the artists is today from 5 to 7 p.m. Locals often line up early to get the first crack at the year’s selection of artworks.

“Small Wonders” will remain on view in the gallery through Jan. 2.
