Aspen Valley Hospital to unveil newest addition Saturday

Aspen Valley Hospital will host an open house for its latest building addition from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.

The new wing, on the northwest side of the hospital campus, will house the emergency department, diagnostic imaging and surgery services. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at the entrance at 10 a.m., with tours of the new areas to follow.

In addition to seeing the new facilities, a demonstration of the robot used in joint replacement surgeries will occur, and the new MRI in diagnostic imaging will be displayed. Halloween-themed refreshments will be offered.



Next year, the final stages of Phase III will be completed, including a laboratory and oncology/infusion center. Phase IV, the final phase, will take another 16 months to complete and includes registration and admissions, a chapel, foundation offices, and specialty clinics.
