Aspen Valley Hospital Hosts Successful “Fresh & Healthy” Community Picnic

On Saturday, September 9, Aspen Valley Hospital welcomed over 400 community members for a family-friendly afternoon full of delicious and nutritious food, fun for the kids, and toe-tapping tunes by the local bluegrass favorite, Timbermill.
Families and kids enjoyed two bounce houses, face painting, balloon-making and clowns as well as a fresh, healthy barbeque with dishes prepared by Aspen Valley Hospital's award-winning nutritional team. The festive menu included vegetarian black bean burgers; 100% grass-fed beef burgers; free-range, grilled chicken sandwiches; savory salads; fresh fruits and veggies, plus wholesome desserts.
Aspen Valley Hospital Foundation wishes to thank all of the Aspen Valley Hospital staff and volunteers, who went above and beyond to make the "Fresh & Healthy" Community Picnic a wonderful success. Foundation staff shared ways to support their efforts to raise and manage philanthropic support for the current and future needs of Aspen Valley Hospital with both familiar and new friends.
