National Safety Council gives Colorado C grade for its ability to keep residents safe

A report on accidental deaths released Tuesday by the National Safety Council found Colorado ranked 33rd among all states and Washington D.C. in 2015, based on regulations and programs in place to protect residents.

The council gave the state an overall C grade for fostering safety on the road, in the work place and in the home.

No state received an overall A grade.
