Baha’i fulfills prophecies for Christ’s second coming

Colin O'Brien

A local humorist, Barry Smith, made headlines in January with his one-man show, “Jesus in Montana.” True, most wannabe Jesus stories make for good humor. Barry even says, “the story writes itself.” But the return of Jesus in Montana is a reality more incredible than fiction. In his interview with the Times, Barry Smith is right about the return of Jesus. As a Baha’i Under the Provisions of the Covenant, I am 100 percent behind him telling the world about the return of Jesus in Montana. As Jesus said on his return, “It doesn’t matter if they are talking good about us or bad about us, as long as they are talking about us.”Barry says in the article, “It wasn’t supposed to be about charisma. It was about studying the prophecies.” This is correct. The prophecies are what led many Jews to accept Jesus on his first coming. But others, because Jesus didn’t fulfill their expectations, nailed him to the cross. Today, Jesus has appeared the same way he did 2,000 years ago, by fulfilling prophecy, not people’s expectations.Doc never claimed to be Jesus Christ. He is not Jesus Christ reincarnated. He is not Jesus of Nazareth. The return of Jesus is not the return of Christ. Doc is the return of Jesus the High Priest (great educator) after the order of Melchizedek. The Bible says that Jesus of Nazareth was a sperm descendant of King David through his father Joseph. This is why he was called Christ. The word Christ comes from the Greek Christos, which is a translation of the Hebrew Messiah or, more completely Messiah-ben-David. The word Christ means an anointed male sperm descendent of King David.Bible prophecy says the Christ lineage will continue forever. Psalm 89 tells us that God promised David that his throne would last as long as the sun will last. Because of this prophecy, people like “DaVinci Code” author Dan Brown purport Jesus’ lineage continued through a secret relationship with Mary Magdalene whose descendants became some of the European kings and queens. But Jesus did not sit on David’s throne and he had no descendants. Hence his words from the Gospel of John, “My kingdom is not of this world.”Prophecy says that another Christ would come, one seated on the throne of David, from the bloodline of Christ, that is the bloodline of King David. The second Christ would have a “government on his shoulder,” which is the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven that Jesus told his disciples to pray for in the Lord’s Prayer. An actual government promised to bring peace to the earth. Baha’u’llah, founder of the Baha’i faith, fulfills the prophecies for the second Christ. His name in English means Glory of the Father. Baha’u’llah is a male sperm descendant of David, seated on David’s throne, whose lineage and bloodline can be traced all the way back to Solomon and King David. When the reins of authority in the Baha’i faith were usurped through deception and deceit by those who sought to end the Davidic lineage of the bloodline of Christ continued in the sons and grandsons of Baha’u’llah, Jesus returned, fulfilling explicit Bible prophecy. The light of the Son returned to establish his Father’s, Baha’u’llah’s, kingdom. His mission was to educate people through scientific proof and evidence on the continuation of the Davidic lineage and to establish the government of God brought by the second Christ Baha’u’llah. The way we recognize the kingdom of God on earth is by the presence of the living Davidic king, who distinguishes it from fakes, frauds and imitations.Abdu’l-Baha, son of Baha’u’llah and seated on David’s throne, came to Glenwood Springs in 1912 when he journeyed through America. While here, he spoke of the unique nature of this valley, and instructed his only son to move the family to the Rocky Mountains during the time of the Great Catastrophe, which is upon us now. Today, Abdu’l-Baha’s great-grandson continues the throne of David here in the Roaring Fork Valley as the president of Baha’u’llah’s Universal House of Justice, the “House of the Lord” spoken of in the book of Isaiah, Chapter 2.The current crises in the world today, which are prophesied extensively, are no laughing matter! The return of Jesus, who appeared in the prophesied seven-towered Temple of Ezekiel in Deer Lodge, Mont., warned the people of impending catastrophe should the world continue on its current course. He educated people about the reality of the Bible and sought to destroy the mythologies that keep people from using their intellects to find the truth, free of charge.Jesus on his return and those he educated have been warning the people of impending calamity for decades. But the calamities he warns of are not the end of the world. This time we are living in is the end of a corrupt and selfish age of materialism whose apex is thermonuclear World War Three in which one-third of mankind will be killed in one hour. The book of Revelation says, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates. So the four angels were released who had been held ready for the hour, the day, the month, and the year, to kill a third of mankind.” (Rev. 9:14-15)Bible prophecy may seem funny to some. But when one ponders that the river Euphrates runs through the center of Iraq, and Osama bin Laden – known by the CIA to have nukes – has been given the green light by Muslim clergy to use them, it should become clear that this should be investigated for validity rather than promoted for humor. This current crisis in the Middle East has only increased the hostility between East and West, being motivated by corrupt religion and oil profit greed. In the ’90s, many people, including Michael Moore and Harpers magazine, thought it would be fun to laugh at these warnings and make a mockery of it. Reflect. Is it so funny that innocent blood is being continually shed upon the globe while the unheeded predictions of the return of Jesus and those he educated are daily being fulfilled? The Baha’is, educated by the Return of Jesus, published well before its occurrence in broadcast and in print the date, place, perpetrators, and the nature and reasons for the 9/11 event from prophecy recorded in the Bible. The calamities are not written in stone. The reason the prophecies are given is so people can turn to righteousness and justice and avoid the calamity. The message that the return of Jesus promotes is that peace on earth can be attained by the implementation of the Baha’i Peace Plan. Among its principles are the end of prejudice in all forms, the absolute equality of men and women, the essential harmony of science and religion, the implementation of a universal language, a spiritual solution to the economic problem, the oneness of humanity, the foundation of all religions recognized as one, universal education, the promotion of the independent search for truth and finally, that humanity must form an international tribunal with equal representation of all nations with binding treaties and covenants so the people of the world may settle its disputes at a conference table instead of with weapons of mass destruction. The Christ promised kingdom of God on earth has come! The bloodline of Christ through Baha’u’llah and ‘Abdu’l-Baha continues to this day. It is being promulgated worldwide from the prophesied New Jerusalem of the Rocky Mountains of America. Twelve interstate gates, here in the Rockies, surround us. The return of Jesus the high priest, proclaimed his mission from the prophesied seven-towered Ezekiel’s Temple in Deer Lodge, Mont. in the north. In the south, Chair Mountain overlooking Marble (“Great White Throne Judgment” Rev. ch. 20) and the Crystal River Valley signify the area’s connection to the Throne of King David and the bloodline of Christ (Davidic kingship) of Abdu’l-Baha and his historical visit as well as his great-grandson who promulgates the education and teachings of the return of Jesus from this area. “Then he showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne and of the Lamb …” (Rev. 22: 1), as both Abdu’l-Baha (Christ) and Jesus the Lamb (Doc) visited the Roaring Fork valley and established the Cause of God here in our home.On Jesus’ first coming, the ridicules and condemnations heaped upon that blessed soul are well-known. The people called him gluttonous and a winebibber, sharing meals with tax collectors and sinners. They mocked his claims, misconstrued his aims, and denied his warnings. They said: “Is not this Jesus of Nazareth son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How can he say therefore, I came down from heaven?” Today, (2,000 years later) the influence of that glorious personage is undeniable, claiming one-third of the population of the earth as followers. Now is the time to investigate! The Baha’is Under the Provisions of the Covenant offer a series of free classes with no obligation. One’s beliefs must be based on proof and evidence and rooted in reality; otherwise it is nothing more than superstition.
