Strange days, indeed

Dear Editor:

McCain’s V.P. choice, Gov. Palin ” What was he thinking, or not?

The only international experience she has was when she was on the cover of Vogue.

OK, I’ll give her credit in that she knows how to hunt, so she can go and hunt down Osama bin Laden. And she know how to ride a snowmobile, which can be used during the winter months in the mountains of Afghanistan to hunt Osama bin Laden.

She can use her shooting skills to shoot bin Laden when she finds him. And of course she can live off the land because she knows how to fish.

McCain’s choice is just one more example that he is out of touch with the real world.

McCain cannot use the Internet, and does not know how many houses he and his wife own. McCain has admitted he does not know much about the economy; hell, he even thinks the economy is sound.

Back to Palin. It is very scary to think of something happening to McCain and him dying in office; none of us want that, of course. The question is how would VP Palin be able to step up to the plate and take his place? What is the opinion of the world’s leaders of McCain’s choice? How would these same leaders deal with her?

This has got to be the strangest presidential election in the history of our country.
