RMJHL’s Colorado Rampage hire Pat Bingham as next head coach
The Colorado Rampage of the Rocky Mountain Junior Hockey League hired Pat Bingham as its next head coach, owner Andrew Sherman announced this week.
Bingham, 48, has been part of the Rampage organization for five years, serving as its president, hockey director and 16 AAA head coach. Prior to that, he spent 15 seasons coaching professional hockey in numerous leagues. This included working with the affiliate teams of the NHL’s Ottawa Senators and Anaheim Ducks. He’s also worked with the New York Islanders and Pittsburgh Penguins organizations.
Serving as his assistant will be George Pagonis, who was the team’s interim head coach last season.
The RMJHL season starts in October.
