Fire calls

The Snowmass-Wildcat Fire Protection District responded to the following emergency calls from Oct. 6 to 12.

Oct. 6

Carbon monoxide alarm at 35 Lower Woodbridge Road, the Woodbridge condominiums. The carbon monoxide gas was ventilated and the alarm was reset.

Fire alarm at 70 Club Commons Circle, the Commons employee-housing complex. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.

Mutual aid requested by the Basalt Fire Department for a medical call in the Roaring Fork Trailer Park for a child having a seizure. The response was changed to standby in Basalt Fire District for additional medical calls.

Oct. 7

Fire alarm at 35 Lower Woodbridge Road. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.

Mutual aid requested by Basalt Fire Department to standby for additional calls.

Oct. 10

Fire alarm at a home on Wood Road. The alarm company called and canceled our response. Someone provided them with the proper code word.

Oct. 11

Fire alarm at a home on Trail Rider Lane. No hazards were found. Property .anagement was on scene.

Carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Wood Road. A carbon monoxide condition was caused by construction. The gas was ventilated and the scene turned over to property management.

Fire alarm at 690 Carriage Way, the Timberline condominiums. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.

Oct. 12

Fire alarm at 400 Wood Road, the Crestwood Condominiums. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.

Fire alarm at 239 Snowmass Club Circle, the Snowmass Club. The alarm system was activated by a possible malfunction, as no smoke or fire conditions existed.
