Fire calls, April 13-19
The Snowmass Wildcat Fire Protection District responded to the following calls from April 13 to 19.
April 13
Fire alarm at Base Village building 2A for an accidental activation of an Ansul system caused by a cleaning crew manually pulling an alarm box.
Medical call to the Town Park transit center for a person who had been hit by a car. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.
April 14
Fire alarm at 105 Snowmass Club Circle, the Country Club Villas 1600 Building. The alarm system was activated by construction dust.
Fire alarm at a duplex on Burnt Mountain Circle. Crews were dispatched in error as the alarm system was in test mode and offline with the alarm service provider.
April 18
Fire call to Sinclair Road to help mitigate flooding caused by a broken water main. Firefighters dug ditches and placed sand bags to divert water away from houses. The water department was called to shut off the water.
April 19
Fire alarm at 70 Commons Circle. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.
