Selby: Aspen X Games, part 2
Last weekend’s Winter X Games was a relatively seamless, successful few days of competition, concerts, news conferences, family-friendly activities and much more. Judging by the record attendance of 115,000 guests over four days at Buttermilk, the jam-packed schedule appealed to the masses from near and far.
Hometown heroes also made an impact all weekend, including Gretchen Bleiler, who led the charge with Protect Our Winters in welcoming Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Gina McCarthy, and Alex Ferreira winning the bronze medal in the Men’s Ski Superpipe Final on Sunday.
