Skico releases public event schedule for World Cup Finals

Aspen Skiing Co. has released the public event schedule for the 2017 Audi FIS Ski World Cup Finals, held March 15-19 in Aspen. The five-day event is the culmination of the World Cup season for the highest-level of skiers. It will be the first time the Finals have been held on U.S. soil since Vail hosted the races in 1997.

The following schedule is subject to change:

Wednesday, March 15

8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Race venue open 1-A

9:30 a.m. RACE START: Men’s America’s Downhill at Aspen Mountain

11 a.m. RACE START: Women’s America’s Downhill at Aspen Mountain

Post-race: Official awards – finish area

1 p.m. – 9 p.m. World Cup Village open at Wagner Park

2 p.m. – 6 p.m. America’s Downhill kick-off party at Wagner Park

TBA U.S. Ski Team autograph signing at Wagner Park

TBA Roch Cup presentation for men’s downhill winner at Wagner Park

7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Coaches soccer tournament at Wagner Park

Thursday, March 16
