Putting the public in public radio
Dear Editor:
On behalf of Aspen Public Radio’s staff and board of directors, I want to thank all of you who made a pledge of support during our 2008 summer pledge drive! After all, you are the “public” in Aspen Public Radio. Once again, we were overwhelmed with the support we received from the community. Listeners from Aspen to Rifle to Eagle mailed in donations, contributed online and walked in their pledges of support.
And just a reminder that we encourage visitors to stop by the station anytime at our studios at the Red Brick Center for the Arts. We enjoy meeting our listeners.
But, most important, thank you for your continued generosity as we celebrate more than 20 years of serving the Roaring Fork Valley.
