Aspen Times field report: Sunny and warm! The snow is variably firm and soft, top to bottom of Aspen Mountain. That will continue to evolve over the course of the day as these temps start to rot out the snow layer. Thankfully, we have an epic base!

Liftline status: Solo buckets.

Snowcast: According to NOAA, today should be mostly sunny, with a high near 58. West wind 5 to 15 mph.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 31. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 56. West wind 5 to 15 mph.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 59. West wind 5 to 15 mph.
