Mom spent most of her life in the Roaring Fork Valley; also later Montana, Crawford, CO and Monticello, Utah area.

She loved the ranching life; feeding the cows off a team of horses in the winter. One of her greatest thrills was racing her horse (Rio) in the Garfield county cow pony races 1987-89. Mom also rode in a womans side saddle cub in Ennis, Montana. She used her families old (1885) side saddle on a horse named Misty. Camping and riding in the mountains of the Roaring Fork Valley, running cows up the Frying Pan, skiing in Aspen, square dancing at 7 Castles with the Crowleys and Sterkers, buying turquoise in the South West were also great memories of hers.

Mom is at home with Jesus now. She requested no funeral – just remember her. “When someone you love becomes a memory; The memory becomes a treasure.” -Unknown
