Mullins, McLeod to head Aspen commission

ASPEN – Ann Mullins, principal of wjmdesign LLC, and Jamie Brewster McLeod, owner of Brewster McLeod Architects Inc., have been named chair and vice chair of the Aspen Historic Preservation Commission.

Mullins, an Aspen-based landscape architect, and Brewster McLeod, an Aspen- and Telluride-based residential architect, said in a statement that they would work to ensure the historical character of Aspen is preserved thoughtfully and for many future generations.

Mullins has served six years on the commission. Brewster McLeod will be starting her third year. Together with the other board members, they will convene and debate applications that are submitted to the city of Aspen that involve buildings and landscapes of historical significance.
