Organizers of American Renewable Energy Day announced that this year's Summit will include a free concert by Brothers Keeper featuring John Popper on Fanny Hill in Snowmass Village at 6:30 p.m. June 22.
The concert is part of AREDAY's free public events set for June 22-24, including AREDAY ELECTRIC, AREDAY EXPO! and IMPACT FILM. AREDAY is a production of The American Renewable Energy Institute.
AREDAY ELECTRIC is a new component this year, taking place from noon to 5 p.m. June 22 through June 24 on the Snowmass Village Mall. Additionally, the Garfield Pitkin Eagle Electric Sales Event, a program working with local auto dealers to offer discounted pricing on electric vehicles, will be held April 1 through June 30.
The AREDAY EXPO! takes place in conjunction with AREDAY ELECTRIC, showcasing sustainable initiatives, energy advances, eco-friendly products, workshops, guest speakers and musical performances. AREDAY Community Conversations, with experts on climate change and renewable energy, will be held on the Fanny Hill Stage on June 23 and 24.
