Beginning today, road crews will be milling and prepping the area for new asphalt. Once the milling is complete, the entire project area is scheduled for the final lift of asphalt and striping Sept. 26 to 30. One-lane closures will be in place during this two-week period to allow construction crews to mill and pave each section of the road. Motorists should expect heavy delays, as traffic will only be allowed through the project area in alternating directions.
