Aspen official report: 2" fresh powder overnight. 11" in the past week.

Aspen Times field report: Far be it from us to complain about 2" of light, dry, champagne powder! Though the storm last night appeared to be DUMPING pow, the 2" was not dissapointing at all. Every inch counts! Temps were cold this morning, though they are expected to rise back in to the 30's today when the storm engages us again. Get ready pow hounds, forecasters are predicting 3-5" today and tonight, with a good chance of snow through Sunday!

Liftline status: Very light liftlines. We had the gondola all to ourselves this morning.

Breakdown: Very few people on the hill today - so a good day to go exploring and ski up the new snow we got last night. Rumor has it that Aspen Mountain patrol may open the entire mountain today.

Snowcast: A winter weather warning is in effect through tomorrow at 6pm. There is a 90% chance of snow tonight and tommorow, with accumlations in the 3-5 inch range over night. More snow is expected through Saturday. Next week looks pretty clear at this point.
