Autopsy inconclusive in man’s death

An autopsy was inconclusive on the cause of death of Garrett Henson, 20, of Basalt, Eagle County Coroner Kara Bettis said Friday. She said a toxicology study will be performed. The results will take about six weeks, she said.

Henson was found unresponsive and not breathing in an apartment on Robinson Street in Willits at about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to Basalt Police Department. Paramedics administered CPR but couldn’t revive him. He was declared dead at the scene.

Henson was discovered by a roommate, who called 911. There were no signs of foul play, according to the Police Department.
