Basalt Fire Department calls

Editor’s note: The following are the fire and medical calls that the Basalt Fire Department responded to between Aug. 3 and Saturday.

Aug. 3 at 9:28 a.m. — An ambulance was called to Midland Avenue for a sick man. He was transported to a hospital for further care.

Aug. 3 at 12:05 p.m. — An ambulance was called to Willits for a male with a potentially broken leg from a skateboarding fall. He was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Aug. 3 at 12:53 p.m. — An ambulance was called to Cody Lane for a woman with seizure-like symptoms. She was transported to the hospital for further care.

Aug. 6 at 10:50 a.m. — An ambulance was called to the Rio Grande Trail for a man with potential injuries suffered from falling off his bicycle. He was transported to a hospital for further care.

Saturday at 3:27 p.m. — An ambulance was called to Eagle County Drive for a female with potential injuries suffered in a bicycle crash. She was assessed and released on the scene.

Saturday at 5:13 p.m. — An ambulance was called to downtown Basalt for a sick female. She was transported to the hospital for further care.
