Basalt fire department calls

Editor’s note: Following are the emergency calls that the Basalt Fire Department responded to from June 22 through Saturday.

June 22 at 1:55 p.m. — Firefighters were called to Snowmass Creek Road for a report of smoke. An illegal controlled burn was found and extinguished.

June 22 at 6:56 p.m. — An ambulance was called to South Side Drive for a man who was injured when he fell off a ladder. He was transported to the hospital for further care.

June 22 at 9:24 p.m. — An ambulance was called to Parkside Drive for a man acting strangely. He was assessed and released on the scene.

June 22 at 9:39 p.m. — An ambulance was called to Robinson Street for a female who was bitten by a dog. She was treated on the scene and released.

June 23 at 6:04 a.m. — An ambulance was called to Frying Pan Road for a motorcyclist who had hit a deer. The man was transported to the hospital for further care. There was no word on the condition of the deer.

June 24 at 3:35 p.m. — Firefighters were called to Green Meadow Drive for a gas leak in a garage. The gas was turned off, and the incident was turned over to the gas company.

June 25 at 12:43 p.m. — An ambulance was called to Frying Pan Road for a man who suffered injuries from an unknown cause. He was taken to the hospital for further care.

June 25 at 5:09 p.m. — Firefighters were called to Red Tail Drive for a gas leak when homeowners struck a line while digging. Responders controlled the scene until the gas company responded and repaired the line.

June 26 at 12:34 p.m. — An ambulance was called to Midland Avenue for a sick man. He was transported to the hospital for further care.

June 26 at 4:11 p.m. — An ambulance was called to Highway 82 and El Jebel Road for a man unconscious after a car accident. He was transported to the hospital for further care.

June 26 at 4:51 p.m. — An ambulance was called to the El Jebel Plaza parking lot for a woman who was struck by a car while riding her bicycle. She was transported to the hospital for further care.

June 27 at 12:59 a.m. — An ambulance was called to Devon Court for a man who suffered injuries when he fell. He was assessed and released on the scene.

June 27 at 1:25 p.m. — An ambulance was called to the Snowmass Monastery for a sick man. He was transported to the hospital for further care.

June 27 at 6:53 p.m. — An ambulance was called to Frying Pan Road for a man involved in a rollover accident. He was assessed on the scene and released.

Saturday at 9:19 p.m. — An ambulance was called to Lazy Glen for a sick woman. He was released to the care of law enforcement officials.

Saturday at 11:45 p.m. — An ambulance was called to Adele Creek for a unresponsive male with injuries. He was transported to the hospital for further care.
