Aspen Easter egg hunt is Sunday

Aspen’s Free Community Egg Hunt will be held at the Yellow Brick Schoolhouse park, located at Bleeker and Garmisch streets, at noon Easter Sunday.

An estimated 5,000 toy-filled eggs will be available for kids ages 0 to 8 to hunt for. Additionally, there will be special zones for three different age groups.

The youngest group of children, ages 0 to 2, will have easy access to eggs in a special area of the park. The second group, ages 3 to 5, will have its eggs hidden in another area of the park and the older hunters, ages 6 to 8, will have their own area of the park to hunt.

Participants need to bring their own basket to collect eggs. The Easter Bunny also will be in attendance.
