Basalt fire and medical calls

Following are the fire and medical calls to Basalt Fire Department between March 21 and Saturday.

March 21 at 3:54 a.m. — Responded to a residence on Hillcrest Drive for a fire alarm. No hazards were found and the batteries had to be replaced.

March 23 at 2:58 p.m. — Responded to a residence on Emma Road for a structure fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire.

March 24 at 12:23 p.m. — Responded to a vehicle accident at mile 5 of Frying Pan Road. No injuries or hazards were found.

March 24 at 9:53 p.m. — Responded to a vehicle accident at mile 20 on Highway 82. No injuries or hazards were found.

March 25 at 11 a.m. — Responded to a residence on Clark Drive for a medical emergency. One patient was taken to Valley View Hospital.

March 25 at 4:02 p.m. — Responded to a residence on East Valley Road for a medical emergency. One patient was taken to Valley View Hospital.

March 26 at 3:06 p.m. — Responded to a vehicle accident at Bishop Road and Highway 82. No injuries or hazards were found.

March 27 at 9:15 a.m. — Responded to a vehicle accident at mile 29 on Highway 82. No injuries or hazards were found.

March 27 at 2:07 a.m. — Responded to a residence on Oak Road for a carbon monoxide alarm. No hazards were found. The batteries had to be replaced.

March 27 at 6:23 p.m. — Responded to a residence on Gold Rivers Court for a medical alarm. It was a false alarm because no one was at the residence.

March 27 at 8:03 p.m. — Responded to the clinic on Basalt Center Circle for a medical emergency. One patient was taken to Valley View Hospital.

March 28 at 5:16 a.m. — Responded to a residence on Horseshoe Drive for a carbon monoxide alarm. There were no hazards found on the scene and batteries had to be replaced.

March 29 at 8:58 a.m. — Responded to a residence on Black Bear Trail for a fire alarm. No fire was found. The batteries were replaced in the alarm.

March 31 at 7:13 p.m. — Responded to a residence on Emma Road for a medical emergency. One patient was taken to Valley View Hospital.

April 2 at 10:39 a.m. — Responded to Basalt High School for a medical emergency. No one was transported to the hospital.

April 2 at 5:02 p.m. — Responded to a residence on East Valley Road for a medical emergency. One patient was taken to Valley View Hospital.

April 3 at 6:42 a.m. — Responded to a vehicle accident at mile 21 on Highway 82. No injuries or hazards were found.

April 4 at 9:34 a.m. — Responded to Basalt High School for a medical emergency. No transport to the hospital was necessary.

Saturday at 8:52 a.m. — Responded to a business on Midland Avenue for an elevator alarm. No one was on the elevator. It was a false alarm.
