Basalt fire calls

Editor’s note: The following are the emergency calls that the Basalt Fire Department responded to from Jan. 24 through Sunday.

Jan. 24 at 6:25 p.m. — Responded to a residence on Katydid Lane for a medical emergency. One patient was taken to Aspen Valley Hospital for evaluation.

Jan. 26 at 1:25 a.m. — Responded to a residence on Riverside Drive for a carbon monoxide alarm. No hazards were found. Changed batteries for the homeowner.

Jan. 26 at 5:35 p.m. — Responded to a call of a possible structure fire in a midvalley area of mutual aid with Carbondale. Response was canceled when no fire was found.

Jan. 26 at 6:20 p.m. — Responded to a medical emergency while on standby at the Winter X Games at Buttermilk. No transport was necessary.

Jan. 27 at 11:39 p.m. — Responded to a residence on Beaver Lane for a medical emergency. No transport was necessary.

Jan. 28 at 8:48 a.m. — Responded to a residence on Willits Lane for a medical emergency. No transport was necessary.

Jan. 28 at 6:41 p.m. — Responded to a residence on Meadow Court for a medical emergency. One patient was taken to Aspen Valley Hospital for evaluation.

Jan. 29 at 4:39 a.m. — Responded to Hook Spur Lane for a report of a wildland fire. No fire was found after extensive searching.

Jan. 29 at 1:12 p.m. — Responded to a residence on Bobcat Court for a medical emergency. No transport was necessary.

Jan. 29 at 3:59 p.m. — Responded to Highway 82 in the midvalley for a motor-vehicle accident with injuries. One patient was taken to Valley View Hospital.

Jan. 30 at 6:54 a.m. — Responded to a motor-vehicle accident on Cedar Drive. No injuries or hazards were found.

Jan. 30 at 8:35 a.m. — Responded to a motor-vehicle accident with injuries on Highway 82 in the midvalley. One patient was taken to Valley View Hospital.

Jan. 30 at 11:57 a.m. — Responded to a motor-vehicle accident on Highway 82 in the midvalley. No injuries or hazards were found.

Jan. 30 at 4:21 p.m. — Responded to a residence on East Valley Road for a medical emergency. No transport was necessary.

Jan. 31 at 4:29 p.m. — Responded to a local business on Highway 82 for a fire alarm. The alarm was faulty.

Jan. 31 at 7:03 p.m. — Responded to a residence on Sopris Mountain Ranch Road for a carbon monoxide alarm. The alarm was faulty.

Saturday at 9:49 a.m. — Responded to a residence on Elk Lane for a carbon monoxide alarm. The alarm was faulty.

Saturday at 3:47 p.m. — Responded to a motor-vehicle accident with injuries on Highway 82 in the midvalley. One patient was taken to Valley View Hospital.

Sunday at 3:24 p.m. — Responded to a motor-vehicle accident on Highway 82 in the midvalley. No injuries or hazards were found.
