Jazz Aspen adds The Revivalists to Labor Day lineup
Jazz Aspen Snowmass has added the seven-piece New Orleans rock band The Revivalists to its Labor Day Experience lineup, the nonprofit announced Monday.
The band will perform in the 3 p.m. Sept. 3 slot, preceding The Roots and Maroon 5.
Fronted by lead singer and guitarist David Shaw, The Revivalists’ world-class musicianship is front and center at their renowned live shows as guitar, drums, pedal steel guitar, bass, saxophone, keyboard and trumpet collide with Shaw’s soulful, swaggering vocals to create a sonic imprint all their own.
As previously announced, the three-day Labor Day festival acts include Daryl Hall and John Oates plus Lake Street Dive on Sept. 1 and Keith Urban, Nathaniel Rateliff and The Night Sweats and St. Paul and the Broken Bones on Sept. 2.
Tickets are available at www.jazzaspensnowmass.org, 866-JAS-TIXX (572-8499) and at the Belly Up box office. Event Patron (VIP) three-day passes also are available at www.jasstore.org.
