Fire Calls, April 8-14

SNOWMASS VILLAGE - The Snowmass Wildcat Fire Protection District responded to the following calls between April 8 and April 14.

April 8:

• Medical call to 105 Daly Lane, the ski-patrol pickup point, for two patients who had collided while skiing. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital. Mutual aid was requested of Aspen Ambulance to transport the second patient to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to 35 Lower Woodbridge Road for a person suffering from a possible stroke. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

April 9:

• Mutual aid requested by Aspen Ambulance to respond to 401 Castle Creek Road and standby in the district for additional medical calls while they were busy.

• Medical call to 67 Wood Road, the Base Village ski-patrol pickup point, for a person suffering from chest pain. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

April 10:

• Automatic fire alarm at 95 Timbers Club Court, Unit K 101. The alarm was activated by ProGuard working on the system.

April 12:

• Medical call to 105 Daly Lane for a person suffering from midline neck and back pain. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Automatic fire alarm at 70 Commons Circle, Unit 304. A cooking error had activated a smoke detector.

April 13:

• Fire call to 5980 Snowmass Creek Road to check on illegal burning. The pile was still smoldering and was extinguished.

• Fire call to 5980 Snowmass Creek Road to follow up on the previous call. No smoldering was present.

April 14:

• Medical call to 105 Daly Lane for an intoxicated patient. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.
