Fire Calls, March 18-24

SNOWMASS VILLAGE - The Snowmass-Wildcat Fire Protection District responded to the following 911 calls between March 18 and 24.

March 18:

• Medical call to 198 Gallun Lane, the ski patrol pick-up point, for a man suffering from a positive deformity of his right wrist. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Automatic Fire Alarm at 70 Commons Circle the Club Commons Unit #204. A cooking error activated a smoke detector.

• Medical call to 105 Daly Lane, the Snowmass Clinic, for a child with low-oxygen saturation. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Carbon monoxide alarm at 1926 Faraway Road. The alarm was determined to be a system malfunction as no carbon monoxide was detected. The alarm was reset.

March 19:

• Medical call to 924 Hawk Ridge Lane for an intoxicated person. One person was evaluated and turned over to the Snowmass Village Police Department.

March 20:

• Medical call to 105 Daly Lane, the Snowmass Clinic, for a child suffering from an allergy-induced asthma attack. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

March 21:

• Carbon monoxide alarm at 93 Daly Lane. Carbon monoxide was detected in the building due to a forklift running in the construction area. The building was evacuated and ventilated. Thirty people were evaluated for symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning.

• Mutual aid was received from Aspen Ambulance for a medical call to 105 Daly Lane, the Snowmass Clinic, for a person suffering from unknown trauma patient. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Mutual aid was received from Aspen Ambulance for a medical call to the Timbers ski patrol pick-up point for a person suffering from a head injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to the Gallun Lane ski patrol pick-up point for a person suffering from a head injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Fire call at 84 Carriage Way for an odor of natural gas. Nothing was found.

• Medical call to the Snowmass Clinic for a person suffering from shoulder and hip injuries. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to the Gallun Lane ski patrol pick-up point for a person suffering from a fractured lower leg. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to the fire station, located at 5275 Owl Creek Road, for a person who had been brought to the station because of a possible overdose. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

March 22:

• Medical call to 198 Gallun Lane, the ski patrol pick-up point, for a person suffering a traumatic arrest after hitting a tree. CPR was in progress. No one was transported.

• Medical call to 1 Timbers Club Court, the ski patrol pick-up point, for a person suffering from a deformity to the lower leg. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Carbon monoxide alarm at 2202 Faraway Road. The alarm was caused by an accidental activation.

• Medical call to 4250 Divide Road for a person who fainted. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to 300 Carriage Way Unit #205 for a person suffering from nausea. The patient refused transportation to Aspen Valley Hospital.

March 23:

• Automatic fire alarm at 120 Carriage Way. The alarm was caused by a cooking error.

• Medical call to the Timbers ski patrol pick-up point for a person suffering from a calf laceration. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to the Gallun Lane ski patrol pick-up point for a person suffering from a fractured lower leg. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to the Snowmass Clinic for a person suffering from a hip injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Automatic fire alarm at 400 Wood Road, the Crestwood Condominiums Unit #3304. Smoke created by some plumbers set off a smoke detector.

March 24:

• Medical call to 400 Wood Road, the Crestwood Unit #1306, for a person feeling ill. Two people were transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to 40 Elbert Lane, the Wildwood Hotel, for a person who had slipped and fallen suffering a head injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.
