Fire Calls, Feb. 12-24

SNOWMASS VILLAGE - The Snowmass-Wildcat Fire Protection District responded to the following 911 calls between Feb. 12 and 24.

February 12:

• Medical call to the Timbers Club Ski Patrol pickup point for a person suffering from a possible left leg fracture. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to the Timbers Club Ski Patrol pickup point for a person suffering from difficulty breathing and a fast heart rate. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to 171 Burnt Mountain Circle for an unconscious person breathing rapidly with a weak pulse. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Mutual aid from Aspen Ambulance to 1005 Divide Road for a person suffering from a left leg injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to the Gallun Lane Ski Patrol pickup point for a person suffering from a head injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to the Gallun Lane Ski Patrol pickup point for a person suffering from bi-lateral ankle injuries. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Automatic fire alarm to 400 Wood Road the Crestwood Condominiums Unit #2209. The cause of the alarm was a cooking error.

• Medical call to 955 Fox Run Drive for a person suffering from a possible overdose. Medical control was consulted, the patient refused transportation and was left in the care of family.

February 13:

• Medical call to 105 Daly Lane the Snowmass Clinic for a person suffering from shortness of breath. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Automatic fire alarm to 400 Wood Road the Crestwood Condos Unit #2209. The cause of the alarm was a cooking error.

• Medical call to 105 Daly Lane the Snowmass Clinic for a person suffering from a shoulder injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to 105 Daly Lane the Snowmass Clinic for a person suffering from chest trauma. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Mutual aid from Aspen Ambulance to the Gallun Lane Ski Patrol pickup point for a person suffering from a leg injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to 100 Elbert Lane the Westin for a person suffering from vomiting. The patient refused treatment.

• Medical call to near 400 Wood Road the Crestwood Condos for a sledding accident resulting in a head injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to 400 Wood Road the Crestwood Condos Unit #1302. No patient was found. It was determined that this was the same as previous call.

• Automatic Fire alarm 130 Wood Road the Viceroy Hotel First Floor Mechanical Room. The alarm was caused by a burnt water pump motor.

February 14:

• Automatic Fire alarm to 400 Wood Road the Crestwood Condos. The cause of the alarm was a cooking error.

• Medical call to Owl Creek Road just above the Town of Snowmass Village Maintenance Building for a one vehicle accident. The vehicle had rolled up on to its side and back down on its tires. The driver refused to be seen by the ambulance crew. No hazardous conditions were found.

• Medical call to the Gallun Lane Ski Patrol pickup point for a person suffering from a headache and an altered level of consciousness. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to the Gallun Lane Ski Patrol pickup point for a person suffering from an altered level of consciousness. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to the Gallun Lane Ski Patrol pickup point for a person who had fallen approximately 20' from a chair lift. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Automatic Fire alarm at 41 Forest Lane. The cause of the alarm was a

closed flue.

February 15:

• Medical call to 120 Carriage Way for a person suffering from a head injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to 105 Daly Lane the Snowmass Clinic for a person suffering from a shoulder injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Fire call to 55 Upper Woodbridge Road Unit #D3 for a smell of smoke. We determined that the smoke was coming from a closed chimney flue.

• Automatic Fire alarm at 940 Two Creeks Drive. No cause for the alarm was found. The home was left in the care of property management.

February 16:

• Automatic Fire alarm at 400 Wood Road the Crestwood Condos Unit #1202. The cause of the alarm was a cooking error.

• Automatic Fire alarm at 121 Oak Ridge Lane. The cause of the alarm was a cooking error.

• Medical call to 1 Snowmass Village Mall the RFTA Bus Stop for an intoxicated person. No medical care was needed. The patient was left with the Snowmass Village Police Department.

February 17:

• Medical call to the Gallun Lane Ski Patrol pickup point for a person suffering from abdominal pain. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to the Gallun Lane Ski Patrol pickup point for a person who had been injured while skiing. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to 105 Daly Lane the Snowmass Clinic for a person suffering from nausea and vomiting. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to 100 Elbert Lane the Westin Room #795 for a person suffering from shortness of breath. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

February 18:

• Medical call to 120 Carriage Way the Treehouse area for a person with trouble breathing. No patient was found.

• Medical call to 400 Wood Road the Crestwood Condos, Unit #1308 for a child in pain from a previously broken leg. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

February 19:

• Medical call to 130 Wood Road Unit #440 for a person suffering from leg pain from previous injury. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to the Daly Lane Ski Patrol pickup point for a person suffering from back pain. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to 1312 Brush Creek Lane for a baby with shortness of breath. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to the Daly Lane Ski Patrol pickup point for a person suffering from dizziness. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Mutual aid received from Aspen Ambulance at the Gallun Lane Ski Patrol pickup point for a person suffering from a hip injury. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to the Timbers Ski Patrol pickup point for a person suffering from neck and back injuries. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to 400 Wood Road the Crestwood Condos for a person who had fainted. The patient refused treatment and transportation to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to 425 Wood Road for a person feeling dizzy. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

February 20:

• Automatic fire alarm to 501 Fairway Drive. The alarm was caused by changing batteries in a smoke detector.

February 22:

• Automatic fire alarm to 41 Forest Lane. The cause of the alarm was a cooking error,

• Fire Call to 100 Elbert Lane for a smell of gas. The gas smell was coming from the fire pit on the mall.

• Medical call to the Timbers Ski Patrol pickup point for a person suffering from a leg fracture. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to 57 Elbert Lane for a person suffering from shortness of breath and nausea. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Automatic fire alarm to 951 Popish Road. The cause of the alarm was construction dust.

• Medical call to 67 Elbert Lane for a person suffering from a head injury. The patient refused treatment and transportation to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to 300 Carriage Way Unit #615 for a person who had fainted. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

February 23:

• Carbon monoxide alarm at 908 Wood Road. We detected 30 parts per million of carbon monoxide. The incident was turned over to Source Gas.

• Mutual aid given to Aspen Ambulance District at the Buttermilk Gas Pumps Ski Patrol pickup point for a person suffering from a head injury. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to the Gallun Lane Ski Patrol pickup point for a person suffering from a wrist fracture. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Automatic fire alarm to 400 Wood Road Unit #2308. The cause of the alarm was a cooking error.

• Medical call to Owl Creek Road at Sinclair Divide for an auto accident. No injuries were found.

• Carbon monoxide alarm at 385 Fairway Drive. We detected 16 parts per million of carbon monoxide caused by a car running in the garage.

• Mutual aid to Aspen Ambulance District at 315 Dean Street for a person who had fainted. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to 10 Snowmass Village Mall for a person who had fainted. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

February 24:

• Medical call to 855 Carriage Way Unit #803 for a person who had fainted. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to the Gallun Lane Ski Patrol pickup point for a person suffering from a fractured femur. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Medical call to 65 Campground Lane Unit #75 for a person suffering from head pain after surgery. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Automatic Fire alarm to 685 Oak Ridge Road. The cause of the alarm was a system malfunction.

• Medical call to 67 Elbert Lane for a person suffering from the effects of alcohol. One patient was left with the Snowmass Village Police Department.
