SNOWMASS VILLAGE --The Snowmass Clinic was forced to temporarily close its doors this morning after a water line break caused flooding within the facility, according to a statement.
Clinic Manager Bart Outzen said in the statement that there was a lot of water in the building but that staff hopes to reopen later this week or early next.
Alternatives for health care include local physician offices, the Aspen Valley Hospital emergency room and After-Hours Medical Care in Basalt. For assistance finding medical care in lieu of the Snowmass Clinic, call the community relations department at Aspen Valley Hospital at 970-544-1296.
The walk-in clinic, located slopeside in Snowmass Village, serves from 15 to 25 sick or injured residents and visitors every day.
