RIFLE - Kim Loving, of Rifle, has been appointed assistant executive director of Lift-Up, effective Jan. 1, after serving as the office manager for the past two years, the organization's board of directors announced this week.

With 15 years of management and bookkeeping experience, Loving keeps a trained eye on all aspects of Lift-Up's programs and services. She processes all donations, handles all accounting responsibilities and oversees grant writing for the organization, headquartered in Rifle.

She is part of a team of five full-time and five part-time employees at Lift-Up, which works to assist families in need from Parachute to Aspen and operates food pantries at sites throughout the greater Roaring Fork Valley.
