In the wake of your recent article about the free dinners Aspen Skiing Co. offers to the current employees, I just would like to say it is much more than proverbial free food ("Aspen Skiing Co. helps its workers weather the slow start," Nov. 29, The Aspen Times).
On Tuesday at Bumps, it felt like a special reception "by invitation only" - yes, you do show your employee pass to enter but immediately feel welcomed home by the smiling Skico higher-ups who not only serve you and bus the tables but do it in a very authentic and warm manner. It was a beautiful evening - not just a free dinner - and the food was quite elegant. High-fives again to Henrietta and Ian, the chefs at Bumps!
These are the details that behoove Skico and make me really proud to work on such a fantastic team! And I am grateful.
