What else is new this winter?

• Local Rebels (opening end of November): Owner Sherry Flack offers contemporary, high-end fashion for women. You will find sweaters, jackets, jeans, jewelry and accessories along with home decor.

• NJ Boutique (opening around Dec. 1): Michelle McCuiston promises fashions that you will not find elsewhere in Aspen/Snowmass. She will be offering trendy contemporary woman's clothing and accessories, made in the U.S., like shirts and knitted furs.

• Sharpshooters: All of your photo imaging needs are available. Their photographers take photos on all four Aspen Skiing Co. mountains and make the photos available to you in their Snowmass Mall location.

• New retail stores and Ranger Station at the Westin Snowmass.

• Arrival Center: A new drop-off feature in front of the building allows visitors to be either dropped off or picked up. A new front door allows easy access to the Arrival Center. You can walk up the A.D.A.-approved ramp and access the locker area, escalator and elevator to the Base Village Plaza or catch a Roaring Fork Transportation Authority or Town of Snowmass Village Shuttle.

• Aspen Snowmass Sotheby's: A new office from this international, recently merged real estate brokerage will open on the Base Village plaza for rentals and sales.

• Snowmass Bakery: Owner Rob Carney will feature his breakfast and lunch menu of muffins, cookies, croissants, sandwiches and desert items on the ground floor of the Red Barn building in Base Village.

• New pizza and Italian food from the owners of Base Camp (opening December): A new restaurant on the second floor of the Red Barn building slopeside in Base Village.
