ASPEN - Aspen Skiing Co. and three other ski resort operators are extending the deadline to buy a joint pass through Dec. 17.
The Mountain Collective Pass is good at Aspen's four ski areas as well as Jackson Hole, Wyo.; Alta, Utah; and Squaw Valley, Calif. Pricing went up Monday to $379 for adults and $239 for children.
For $379, the Mountain Collective Pass includes two days each at the four destinations plus a 50 percent discount on unlimited lift tickets at each of the destinations once the complimentary days are used. In addition, passholders will receive exclusive lodging deals throughout the season.
The pass grants access to eight mountains with more than 16,000 acres of terrain, more than 100 lifts and an unmatched reputation for snow quality and quantity.
"The pass has proven to be extremely popular with skiers and riders across the country including 36 countries around the world," said Christian Knapp, vice president of marketing for Aspen Skiing Co. "We felt the strong demand coupled with the opening of the resorts this week merited extending the purchase deadline with only a slight price increase."
