SNOWMASS VILLAGE - The Westin Snowmass Resort has appointed Ronnie Sanchez as executive chef, where he will oversee all aspects of the property's restaurants and food service. Sanchez has also been executive chef of the Red Salt restaurant on the Hawaiian island of Kauai and the Inn and Spa at Loretto in Santa Fe, N.M.
Sanchez joins Jami Flatt, chef de cuisine of the Snowmass Kitchen, a new restaurant in the Westin Snowmass. In addition, Sanchez will oversee The Bar at Wildwood, the Wildwood Canteen and all food and beverage operations in the Westin Snowmass Conference Center.
The Westin Snowmass is scheduled to open Nov. 15.
