Dear Editor:
On behalf of the Roaring Fork Conservancy board of directors, I want to thank all who helped make the second annual “Midwinter's Evening of Art” a success.
The event was held on Dec. 10 at the Ann Korologos Gallery in Basalt and featured approximately 50 artists, including Russell Chatham, Tania Dibbs, Richard Carter, James Surls, Simon Winegar and many others. All proceeds will benefit Roaring Fork Conservancy programs. Special thanks go to all the talented artists who participated, Larry Yaw (conservancy board member), Jay Madgison and Ann Korologos (Ann Korologos Gallery), Rick Lofaro (executive director) and his staff.
Please visit our website, www.roaringfork.org, for more information on how you can get involved in protecting our rivers, and stay tuned! Plans are already under way for next year's event.
