Dear Editor:

I rarely write letters to the editor; however, that being said, I want to express a sentiment of agreement with Cecil Hernandez' letter of March 16, in which he acknowledges the exceptional and important work that the Aspen Writer's Foundation has done — this year and every year. The choice of writers brought into our community, the way in which each presentation has been designed, the care which has been taken by each Foundation employee to read and comprehend the works of each writer invited, the commitment to bring words in all its mannerisms and varieties to our community is beyond the scope of most town and cities, and truly to be commended. As an author, I thank you. As a longtime local I thank you. As a reader I thank you.
