Old Snowmass haunted barn raises funds for education

OLD SNOWMASS — The public is invited, Friday and Saturday, to a Halloween haunted barn for children in Old Snowmass. The not-too-scary barn is a fundraiser for the Aspen Community School and the Early Childhood Center in Woody Creek.

The ghosts, witches and other spooky creatures will be most active between the hours of noon and 6 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday. Expect spider webs, fog, spooky music and other treats for little thrill-seekers.

From Highway 82 go south on Snowmass Creek Road (turn at the Conoco station in Old Snowmass). After 2.5 miles, turn right at the T stop onto Capitol Creek Road. Take the first right onto East Sopris Creek Road and continue 1.5 miles to the white barn on the left side of the road.
