BASALT — After graduating 100 seniors in the class of 2008, the numbers dipped slightly at Basalt High School this year.
Basalt High School Principal Kevin Schott said 93 seniors marched up to get their diplomas in Saturday’s ceremony.
The class valedictorian was Maggie Summers. The salutatorian was Tyler Wilson.
“It’s a great bunch of kids,” said Schott, who is completing his first year as principal at the school.
Basalt High hit the 100-graduate mark last year for the first time. Enrollment in lower grades indicates the century mark will be cracked with regularity before long.
