ASPEN — Aspen Highlands will re-open Saturday and Sunday for a final weekend of lift-served skiing.

The Exhibition, Cloud Nine, Loge Peak and Deep Temerity lifts will tentatively run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., if temperatures allow. They will provide access to most of the mountain.

There will be a pond skim starting at noon each day with viewing from the Merry-Go-Round restaurant. The Double Diamond Band will play both days, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., also at the Merry-Go-Round. Both the Merry-Go-Round restaurant and Cloud Nine Alpine Bistro will be open for lunch.

All season ski passes are valid. Lift tickets are $39 per day for adults; $29 for youth and seniors; and $19 for children.

Parking is free at the Aspen Highlands garage but guests are encouraged to take a bus. The Roaring Fork Transportation Authority will increase free shuttles during the day with up to six buses running to and from Aspen Highlands to Rubey Park each hour from 8:45 a.m. to 4:15 a.m. Parking is also free at Buttermilk with a shuttle going to Aspen Highlands every 15 and 45 minutes past the hour from 8:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
