Where has your Aspen Times been?

Recent Aspen High School graduate Morgan Boyles and Oxford professor Charles Ramble are seen here catching up on The Aspen Times in Mustang, Nepal. According to Edgar Boyles, who sent in the photo, Morgan was an assistant cameraman on a National Geographic expedition to find sacred Buddhist art in high altitude caves in Mustang, a remote kingdom of western Nepal. Dr. Ramble was the anthropologist on the expedition, which took place in August. Morgan is on a “gap” between graduating from Aspen High last May, and starting Middlebury College in February. He is currently heading to Patagonia on a mountaineering expedition. The program will air this spring as a NGS special on public television.

In this photo are: Peggy Mason, Mark Lee, Sissy Erickson, Brent Miller, Helga Matsuka and Jack Crawford.
