Gray Line launches Aspen service



ASPEN — Gray Line Colorado launched its luxury ground transportation service between Denver International Airport and Aspen-Snowmass on Monday.

The transportation firm offers daily service from DIA to the Aspen-Pitkin County Airport at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

The trips from the Aspen-Pitkin County Airport to DIA are 4:30 a.m., 6:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

The service is provided on a nonstop motor coach that offers VIP check-in at Gray Line’s concierge facility at DIA. Passengers are guaranteed window or aisle seats. There is GPS tracking, on-board entertainment and customized amenities.

The fee is $100 each way between Aspen and DIA, with complimentary shuttle service to Aspen-Snowmass lodging. Children younger than age 2 ride free. The rates are fixed through May 2009, the company said. Advance reservations are requested 24 hours in advance, but Gray Line will try to accommodate walk-up service in Denver and Aspen as well.
