VAIL, Colo. — Vail Resorts stock lost more than 10 percent of its value Thursday, closing down $2.90 to $24.07.
The losses came on a day when when the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 678.91 points to a five-year low of 8,579.19.
Vail Resorts, trading as MTN on the New York Stock Exchange, dropped $2.28 on Wednesday.
The stock was trading as high as $52 on Sept. 19.
