Here’s the fix

Dear Editor:

So, we’re going to bail out the knuckleheads and institutions that are threatening to sink the boat. Why?

We need to stimulate the economy right?

Give every legal taxpaying American $500,000. All the mortgages will be paid off, all the car loans will paid off and everyone will go on a huge spending spree. This will put the economy over the top and in a very healthy state.

Stop spending all that money “fighting the terrorists” (read: enabling Halliburton) and bring those kids home to help spend our newfound windfall. This will cost far less than the proposed bailout that only saves the lending institutions and puts OUR money in OUR hands without taxing our grandkids to death. Forget about the institutions that do not have our collective best interests at heart and take care of OUR PEOPLE for a change. We better start standing up to these faceless corporations and spineless politicians and do the American thing. STAND UP! Just say no to corporate greed and corruption.
