Hollister Cotton

The adventurous life of Hollister Cotton came to an end in the early morning hours of Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008.

Cotton lived and worked in the Roaring Fork Valley (Aspen, El Jebel and Basalt) and Silt from about 1980 to 2002, giving snowmobile tours and operating heavy machinery.

He is survived by his two grown sons, Kane and Wyley Cotton, his grandson, Jaden Cotton, and his companion, Nancy Greene.

His family requests the presence of friends from both near and far to celebrate the life of this truly unique individual. The celebration will occur from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13, at Boulder Beer Co., 2880 Wilderness Place, in Boulder.

Guests are asked to bring with them their favorite pictures and stories of Hollister in hopes that we may all know him better and further enjoy the events of his life.
