Print Comment
VAIL, Colo. — Vail police say an Alzheimer's disease sufferer who had been missing since about noon Sunday has been found and reunited with his wife.

Police said a resident spotted 67-year-old Jeffrey Treneer Nichols around 10:15 a.m. Monday, about 200 to 300 yards west of the end of Bald Mountain Road.

Nichols apparently had spent the night outdoors after wandering away from home.

About 100 volunteers helped look for Nichols on Monday.
