ASPEN — Two men were hospitalized Thursday after a 12,000-pound dolly supporting a construction crane broke free and pinned them.
Police responded at 10 a.m. to Westview Drive east of Aspen, where workers were using the crane to do landscaping on a residential property.
The men were transported to Aspen Valley Hospital, each with broken bones. As of Thursday afternoon, one man was scheduled for air evacuation to another hospital.
