<b>Driving under the influence and speeding 1:52 a.m. Monday, May 12</b>
ASPEN — Aspen officers stopped Aaren Johnson, 35, of Carbondale, for speeding on Main Street near its intersection with Mill Street in Aspen.
Officers allege that Johnson’s speech was slurred and reported a smell of alcohol in the vehicle. Officers then asked Johnson to perform a roadside sobriety test, which she failed.
Johnson was arrested for driving under the influence and transported to the Pitkin County jail. She also was charged with speeding.
